Dave) Organization: Physics Dept, Washington U. in St Louis Lines: 10 In Preferences: I would like to set the right time corresponding to the Indian subcontinent. For some reason when I choose this portion of the map and it highlights I get a message saying couldn't find timezone. In fact there is no file in /private/etc/zoneinfo which corresponds to this part of the world. The files in this directory are however non-ascii so I could not figure out how I could add one for the Indian subcontinent. Any suggestions ? (Note that the alert panel informing "couldn't find time zone" comes only once after launching preference when choosing the Indian subcontinent on the map.) -Rakhal Dave.
