I'm looking for cheap (public domain/shareware preferred) ways to implement this. In PRINTCON there is an operator hold field. Is there a way to get this to default to YES? I haven't found any way in the manuals, but I'm no expert. Another solution proposed was to have all the jobs spool to a queue which is not serving any printers, then move the job to an active queue. I don't see any way to do that with Novell provided utilities. On Compuserve, I found a utility called qm, but it's rather cumbersome. Anybody know of anything that does this with a point-and-shoot / C-Worthy interface? Thanks very much, Bill Sylvester Miami University - Hamilton Campus bsylvester@miavx0.ham.muohio.edu
