I noticed it, but tried to ignore it. (I also started working in a half dark office to maximize contrast). The last few PI's we have gotten have new monitors that are wonderful. The contrast and brightness seem an order of magnitude better. I can actually work in a lighted office now. I realize that this is a totally unreasonable request, but I'll throw it out anyway.... Wouldn't it be great if SGI would let us upgrade our old monitors? Maybe just letting us purchase the new type monitor at SGI cost?
