In a previous posting Jim Patterson (photon!jhp@ucsd.edu) talked about fuzzy
PI monitors.  I couldn't agree more!  The 4D/20's I use regularily have pretty
terrible focus even in the iddle of the screen (not to mention the contrast
problem.....)
  When SGi lent us a 340VGX the monitor was pretty good, although still a bit
soft (the SGI hame was imprinted on it in very pale grey.)
  Although I'm hardly in a position to boy, I would fully support tha "monitor upgrade" idea.
