(Latex, report style) Keywords: latex, header, report Message-ID: <10956@castle.ed.ac.uk> Date: 11 Jun 91 13:24:12 GMT Organization: Scottish Crop Research Institute Lines: 15 I'm starting with emTeX and have a pretty simple question - how to change page numbering in a report style so numbers are in the header rather than the footer. I've tried: \pagestyle{myheadings} \markright{} after each \chapter, but this won't work for the first page of a chapter, nor can I make the page number centered when it does put it at the top. What am I doing wrong, please?! Do I have to do some deep TeX hacking? Thank you very much for any help, I know this isn't an exciting problem, but it's got me stumped, even with latex and tex manuals in front of me! Julian Smart Scottish Crop Research Institute
