Then I switched to Unicom, and Kermit still works fine. However, both programs were using a very small packet size (about 40 bytes) and because of various Inetrnet delays, the throughput was very slow. Then I tried WNQVT. It ran with a packet size of about 1K, or maybe 700 bytes, and the throughput was about three times faster. However, all of my files came up scrambled. Yes, I am sure I checked the BINARY option when doing the kermit download.
