Message-ID: <1991Jun13.154351.11865@vaxa.strath.ac.uk> Date: 13 Jun 91 15:43:51 GMT Organization: Strathclyde University VAX Cluster Lines: 18 There has been talk recently about Headland not releasing a 256 colour 800x600 Windows driver for the VRAM card. Well, GOOD NEWS! I picked up a file called v7800600.zip (or something similar) from the drivers/video directory on cica. And it actually works, I now have 800x600 in 256 colours under Windows. No documentation with this driver, but looking through it reveils two lines of text: 'Copyright Headland Tech...' and '640x480 8 bits'. So it looks like a copy of something that was never released (why not?) but somehow made it out into the big bad world... I'm not complaining... ;-) -- Olav Kolbu cadp01@vaxa.strath.ac.uk 'NO, THERE IS JUST ME', said Death. 'THE _FINAL_ FRONTIER.'
