If you use said versions you do not need himem.sys. In fact I found using it with QEMM takes leaves me with less conventional memory than QEMM alone. MFT the Quarterdeck memory utility will say A20 is not enabled, but you will be able to use extended memory and you will also be able to use smartdrv.sys in extended memory.
