This works, but not exactly like invoking sunview with the -i option. Your mouse cursor is still black, making it hard to find on a black background. This isn't such a bother with shelltools, but when you're trying to run an application using buttons and scrollbars, it's a pain. I'm suffering through this with a couple of tools developed internally. They work just dandy if used under sunview -i, but if you specify the foreground and background colors with -Wf and -Wb, not all the pull-down menus, etc get inverted (even with the -Wg parameter). Probably a poor design of the tool to begin with, but I'll have to suffer with it until our tools support group rewrites it to run under X. Were it not for a couple of sunview specific tools such as these, I'd just be running a 'standard' X server, rather than OpenWindows. Unfortunately, I need the sunview compatibility. On a related topic, is there any way to remove the annoying wide white border from around a sunview-based application when it puts a window or icon on the screen under OpenWindows? -- Dave Kraus UUCP: ...!uunet!motcid!kraus Motorola Cellular Infrastructure Division FidoNet: 1:115/934.5 Disclaimer: My employer's views and my views may necessarily differ.
