Huntsville, AL Lines: 20 I am interested in feedback on how widely the following libraries are used, both on Sun and on other platforms: XView SunView/SunTools library ported to X (source on X11 R4 tape) XGL immediate mode, object oriented graphics library with aspects of both GKS (2D) and PHIGS-PLUS (3D with shading, lighting), depends on X and OpenWindows for window management & network access. Is anyone using either or both of these in a Motif (as opposed to the native OpenLook) environment? How many and what kind of third party (non-Sun) applications are based on one or both of the above libraries? Please send e-mail to me - I will summarize to the net. Thanks. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lawrence E.
