I am looking for tips on how to use a trackball with Motif.

The trackball I am using has three buttons (that work like mouse
buttons).

The problem areas are operations that require you to drag the cursor
(i.e. moving/resizing a window, sliding a slider, etc.). These
operations cause problems because it is difficult to hold down a button
and spin the ball at the same time.
