   Yeah, I know exactly what you mean. There is nobody to talk to about
chronic pain except another who has it. "Normal" people look at me like
I am nuts and ask questions like ,"Can't a doctor do something for you"?
or "There must be some way to help you"? Well, no there is not a way to
help me right now and the doctors can't help me. After having chronic
pain for almost 2 years now I just don't talk to anybody about it. That
is until I found this echo. Only we can understand another's pain
(physical, mental, and spiritual). So I bitch here where others can at
least empathise.

   Most doctors don't care. We represent their failure. That is, they
can't make us feel good so they must dismiss us. We are a threat to
everything they have learned in medical school and mostly their own
egos!
