The AWACS airframe is a modified Boeing 707-320B. Boeing just shut down it's 707 line after the last AWACS was shipped off to France. If other countries want AWACS - Boeing will start up the 707 line again. Current countries with AWACS include; Saudi Arabia, Britain, France, and NATO.
