Dutch dog tags consist of a single stainless steel plate. The plate
is perforated in the middle, both halves contain identical information.
The idea is to break the plate when someone gets killed, leave the end with
the chain on the owner and the other half is shipped back for the records
departement.

Information provided is: Name, serial number (well ok, id number =date-of-birth 
and a 3 digit serial #), blood type and religion. No rank, as far as i remember.
