In response to Lisle Blind's request for specific scripture on the
subject:

   "And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and 
    after this come judgement,.." Hebrews 9:27

    "If a man dies, will he live again?..." Job 14:14 (in way of 
    saying that this is his only chance in a life and he's going
    to remain faithful to get through the hard times. 

It's important to make an investment in a good but easily usable
concordance and *always* search out the Bible on subjects rather
than let too many people's opinions sway you. The "sword of
the Spirit, which is the word of God" (Ephesians 6:17) will
always cut clear the light and the dark.
