P/L., Melbourne, Australia. Lines: 23 I'm looking at networking our Pyramid system and PC's together with AT&T StarGROUP LAN Manager Server running on a 386 PC with SVR4 Unix. This method would seem to give just about the best Unix - MS/DOS interworking that Iv'e heard about - Comments welcome. Only problem is our AT&T distributor want's us to use AT&T SVR4.0 and we already have Intel (soon to be Interactive) SRV4.0, which as far as I can see, should be just about identical - specific drivers excepted. Can we 1 - Run AT&T's LAN manager on another brand of SVR4.0 ? (I don't care if AT&T don't support it) 2 - Obtain LAN Manager for SVR4 Unix from other sources? I'd like to say 'mail me and I'll summarise to the Net', but my international mail access (incomming) is #*&%*&^$, so please don't! _-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_ Stephen Pattinson. | Computer Operations Manager | Lewis Construction Company 15 Batman St., West Melbourne 3003., Victoria, Australia, Ph => +61 3 320 4700 A division of the Concrete Constructions Group. | ACSnet => steve@lewis.oz
