I'm aware of the potential problems but I need more information on the subject. In particular I've found occasions when a change of filter coefficients causes a DC bump in the output. I was aware that this might happen, but I would like to know the details of why this happens. All the DSP texts I have deal only with time invariant filters and shed no light on this topic. Any help or pointers to articles and/or texts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks - Bob Dyas PRISM Interactive Products
