On page 505, in the section on Catmull-Rom splines, they cite [BARR89], saying they give a fast algorithm for displaying Catmull-Rom splines. Unfortunately, there is no [BARR89] in the bibliography, but there is a [BARR89a] and a [BARR89b]. It sounds like the [BARR89b] article is the one I want: Barry, P and R. Goldman ``A Recursive Evaluation Algorithm for a Class of Catmull-Rom Splines'', SIGGRAPH 89, 199-204. Again, unfortunately, this doesn't seem to exist in the proceedings, certainly not on pages 199-204. So, the question of the day is, can anyone out there point me to the correct paper. I know that at least one of the authors reads this group, so hopefully I will get some help. Thanks in advance for your replies, B -- Brian Corrie (bcorrie@csr.uvic.ca) Under the most rigorously controlled conditions of pressure, temperature, volume, humidity and other variables, the organism will do as it damn well pleases. Sounds like some of the code I have written...... 8-)
