Message-ID: <663@rc6.urc.tue.nl> Date: 19 Jun 91 11:53:49 GMT Sender: news@rc6.urc.tue.nl Reply-To: rcsaib@urc.tue.nl Distribution: inet Lines: 23 I have tried to make an user friendly interface with XGEN (version 1.2 90/11/01 written by Kurt Buehler). I made a Bourne Shell program which capture some variables that have been set in the XGEN program. After the Bourne Shell program which is run in foreground has been completed, when it return the control to XGEN I have got the message: "pid xxxx (xgen) was killed on unaligned access at pc xxxxxxxx". This message has an random apparition, so that mean the interface can work properly a while and after that it crashed. Does anyone know the error's cause ? Are some bugs in XGEN which I don't know ? Does anyone know the mail address of author Kurt Buehler from Purdue University ?
