Ideally, I would like to find a book that is the C++ equivalent of Kernighan & Ritchie. To be more specific: I know essentially nothing about C++, but I have programmed in a number of different languages (including C). I am looking for an introduction to C++ that is complete (including recent additions like multiple inheritance), clear, and fairly concise. Please send any recommendations to me directly (since I have not yet learned C++, I do not normally read this newsgroup). If there is any kind of consensus among the responses, I will post a summary. Thanks. -- ____________________________________________________ -Klaus (a.k.a. heilmayr@math.berkeley.edu )
