I have lied to the makefile so it believes it is running 4.3 BSD (close enough). I have it running on 4 other architectures including DEC 3100, IBM RT, VAX and Sun3 (all running MACH). I'm not trying to install any of the optional libraries -- just cfront + related programs and libC.a. cfront on the Sun4 is dumping core while compiling libC.a (in particular, while compiling generic.c). cfront is in name::name at the time. The problem may be a pointer (n_tbl_list) getting trampled but I'm not positive. Has anybody had this problem? If so, where's the bug and what's the fix? Also, if you have AT&T C++ V2.0 running on a Sun4 (any OS), please let me know via e-mail. Thanks in advance. Maria Ebling Okasaki meo@cs.cmu.edu
