Message-ID: <9106181354.AA05407@ucbvax.Berkeley.EDU> Date: 18 Jun 91 07:22:00 GMT Sender: daemon@ucbvax.BERKELEY.EDU Reply-To: KX10LYC0%TWNITRI1.BITNET@SCFVM.GSFC.NASA.GOV Organization: The Internet Lines: 17 Hi: I have a lot of Forth source codes and resided on many directories, if I want to find the definition/constant/variable among them, what should I do? I use the Sun SPARCstation 2. I had seen that the Unix 'awk' can perform the above function by creating a 'tags" file (but for C program), then using the 'vi -t definition' will edit the file which 'definition' be created. Any suggestion/help is highly appreciated. Yin-Chih Lin Bitnet: KX10LYC0@TWNITRI1 Internet: KX10LYC0%TWNITRI1.Bitnet@CUNYVM.CUNY.EDU UUNET: uunet!CUNYVM.CUNY.EDU!KX10LYC0%TWNITRI1.Bitnet@uunet.UU.NET
