Pope) Organization: U S West Lines: 24 Nntp-Posting-Host: raster.uswest.com I just received a draft copy of: Information technology - Text Communication - Standard Page Description Language (SPDL) Draft International Standard ISO/IEC DIS 10180 What I want to build up is a consensus as to how this fits in with the current release of PostScript(tm etc.), and what will be involved in creating a front end filter to produce old fashion, Red Book, PostScript. Things which are release 2 specific also need to be identified. To this end I request input from Adobe et al and will post results if the authors allow. I also request input from all people who originated this document, since there is no historical information at all. I will post results in about a month.
