Errors in running Verilog&HSpice in Cadence Message-ID: <33199@rouge.usl.edu> Date: 19 Jun 91 00:00:51 GMT Sender: anon@rouge.usl.edu Distribution: na Organization: The Center for Advanced Computer Studies, USL Lines: 36 :Originator: lopez@corolla.ece.cmu.edu : A friend of mine is having some problems integrating Verilog and Hilo :into the CADENCE Software (SUN-3 environment). Both tools run properly when :called from the shell, but from the framework menus, some errors are reported: : - Verilog: Error in the keyfile ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ As far as I know, Cadence issues keys to port the software you get from them , onto your system. Your problem indicates that you are specifying a different key or a possible error on part of the distributor. - Hilo: Compilation error ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ We experienced a not too similar problem in running Hspice. It'd run outside the environment. But not when invoked from the menus. Later, it was found that we had a copy that doesn't match with the spex of the framework. It was replaced promptly by Cadence. :Any hints would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. : Juan Carlos I might not have hit the head. But just a piece of clues Mohammed A.
