I have been trying to run elm on my SGI 4D20G and have run
into some problems with filter.  It appears unable to 
open my mailbox to do the default procedure. Instead,
I get an EMERGENCY mailbox. I also get a message
about being unable to create a lock file. I could not
figure this out, so I undefed both FLOCK-related options
and recompiled. Everything works fine, but I am
worried about having no flock. Is this likely to create
a problem? Does anyone have an alternate fix that is cleaner?
