Howdy,

I am once again considering joining BIX, which is Byte magazine's conference
system.  Can someone out in Netland provide any input on the value of BIX?
I have heard it tends to be more mature and involves more professionals than
college students.  Other than the yearly fee for BIX versus 'free' for
students, I don't understand why this would be true.  

Any opinions :) ?
