I would be particularly interested in object-oriented editor designs. One work I am aware of is "Interactive Editing Systems" Part I and II, by Norman Meyrowitz and Andries Van Dam, Computing Surveys Vol 14 No 3 September 1982. Are there more recent surveys on editors? I would appreciate any references to surveys and other papers on editor designs and characteristics. Thanks for you help, Susan Susan Uskudarli, Graduate Student, Department of Computer Science, University of Iowa, Iowa City, IA 52242 USA (uskudar@cs.uiowa.edu)
