At the "Who Owns Your Work" panel at the Summer USENIX conference
in Nashville we were told that right now congress (or the patent
office?) was soliciting comments on proposed changes to the
patent law regarding software....

Could someone with detailed information on exactly WHO can
such comments be sent to, where (address maybe) and any
pertinent deadlines please post them here?

This stuff was posted to the net earlier, but not in a
newsgroup with a broad reader base.  I think lots of
folks would be interested in this.
