Can someone help a friend of mine with problems he is having with getting
a modem working with ST minix - he's driving me crazy with bad luck stories
of not getting minix working !

I have managed to guide him through the 1.3 -> 1.5.10 -> 1.5.10.3 upgrade,
getting Minix to recognise his Supra hard disk, getting root mounted as
/dev/hd2 and finally recognising his modem as /dev/tty2.  I'm stuck at the
final hurdle !

When he connects a terminal to the RS232 port it works OK but when he puts
a modem on, the modem answers OK and then hangs up straight away.  I think 
this may be due to getty sending the device a 'reset' type of signal which
hangs up the modem but I'm not really sure.

I know that there are BBS's running minix OK so I *know* it is possible -
someone help before he drives me up the wall !
