Dear all,
  I have been getting several questions about this, so I think I'ld
better announce this in public:

  The MUGNET backbone (minixug.mugnet.org) is currently unreachable.

  If it were only a hard- or Software failure this might have been solved
earlyer, but unfortunately it has something to do with the telephone line.
Fred is trying to correct the problem, but since it's not completely
in his hands, it may take a while.
  If people are in _urgent_ need for contacting Fred, contact to me, I'll
forward it verbally.
