Keywords: Word Processing, Indexing, MS-DOS Message-ID: <1991Jun13.215609.22319@holos0.uucp> Date: 13 Jun 91 21:56:09 GMT Sender: wdh@holos0.uucp (Weaver Hickerson) Organization: Holos Software, Inc., Atlanta, GA Lines: 18 Can anyone recommend a package to run under DOS and allow a fairly sophisticated (ie efficient) method for creating and managing abstracts. By abstracts, I mean I'd like to write short (or longish) abstracts of newspaper/mag articles, books, etc and retrieve them by keyword later. I'd like to be able to narrow down the search arbitrarily (ie keyword, author, date) The abstract would indicate title, date, author, keywords, etc, etc. Obviously it could be done in a database, but is there any software designed specifically for this purpose and with a simple user interface? Commercial packages are fine. Thanks, Weaver -- -Weaver Hickerson Voice (404) 496-1358 : ..!edu!gatech!holos0!wdh
