  Were there any changes in the logical disk structure from dos 4.x to 5.0,
including partition tables or logical format of a partition (FAT's, etc.)
One could assume that since a reformat wansnt required for the upgrade that
the answer is no, but the installation or a first-use logic could be making
minor changes behind the back.

  In a related question: are there any good sources (books, articles, files)
of information on the partition and logical disk format for the various DOS
versions ?
