It appears that Microsoft has completely omitted the section on messages that used to always appear in the manual. Their Windows documentation is equally deficient. Presumably Microsoft thinks that Windows and DOS messages are, in some way, self documenting. I think it's time to send them a few rockets. Don -- Donald E.
