I had the same problem you did... Okay, I managed to install OS/2 but it won't run, and ruined the hard disk boot of DOS. The ONLY way to do it is to remove all the files (I put it on drive F) and FORMAT the hard disk again. This will install the DOS FAT back into the system. The problem is that OS/2 builds the the boot and overwrite the FAT. DOS doesn't recognize that OS/2 stuff, so it doesn't think it sees FAT. You MUST reformat the parition for fixing the FAT. Well, YOU could backup the paritions with NORTON (create recover disk in 5.0), but it seems too late with that. I am successfully able to boot OS/2 and DOS... p.s. NO need to REFORMAT the whole disk, just the boot parition (drive C). I hope you have drive D, E, and whatever.. copy the files (xcopy c:*.* /s) to one of the other drive and "format c: /s/v". -- -- Robert aka Crimson Avenger (yee@rpi.edu or crimson_avenger@mts.rpi.edu) Once a hacker, always a hacker.
