  Cost and the time availability of features aside, is their any
functional loss or 'superiority deficiency" associated with getting
a Laserjet IID now and having HP upgrade it versus getting the
Laserjet IIID now ?  BTW, is the upgrade cost for the D models the
same as the non-D's (approx $900) ?
