While our Ethernet isn't subnetted now, it may be some day. What is the most efficient, (allowing the most IP numbers), method for subnetting and what does each local host have to have in its configuration to work properly in such an environment. I have heard conflicting information from many knowledgeable people and would like to hear pros and cons from those who have actually done this. I'll post a summary of answers. Thanks.
