Message-ID: Date: 20 Jun 91 03:50:10 GMT Sender: news@pyramid.pyramid.com Distribution: comp.protocols.time.ntp Organization: Pyramid Technology Corp., Mtn View, Calif. Lines: 22 I just picked up the NTP version 3 distribution from udel.edu and compiled the system w/o any problems. However, while testing it out I have a /etc/ntp.conf with just one peer. The peer has been up all the time and if I change the time on my system it is updated from the peer properly. However every now and then I see the following message: Jun 19 20:35:15 mrfreeze unix: ntpd[7110]: Lost NTP peer 129.214.10.151 at various intervals ranging from 4 minutes to 20 minutes. Has anyone else seen this behaviour?
