Hopefully there won't be 2 copies around.] The following have been updated recently: csvax.cs.caltech.edu:pub/3b1/perl-bin.tar.Z csvax.cs.caltech.edu:pub/3b1/groff-bin.tar.Z csvax.cs.caltech.edu:pub/3b1/g++-bin.tar.Z Perl is now version 4.0, patch level 10 (and has been on csvax for about a week now -- "perl -v" will print version information). Groff is 1.02, and now includes refer. The program cc1plus in the g++ distribution was updated to include a patch needed to fix a problem with the compiler that manifest itself in groff as a serious memory leak. Groff can now handle, for example, the perl manual page. Andy Fyfe andy@cs.caltech.edu
