Actually it was in use in a _previous_ version... then around about when RISC OS was released, a version of FormEd was also released with the sprite editing features removed from the menu. The code for them was still there (it has been there all along). I believe the reasoning behind this was that Acorn preferred people to use !Paint to edit their sprites. The sprite editing inside the current !FormEd looks _very_ similar to what !Paint provides. It is possible to insert the editing functions back into !FormEd by de-REMming the appropriate lines and adding a couple of items to a menu string... there was an item about it in an Archive a while ago. A slightly modified version of !FormEd was passed out with Simon Huntingdon's Interface module (brillient piece of software that!) to make editing 'Interface' templates easier. Unfortunately it only coped with the extra 'slabbing' facilities Interface provides, and not the pointer shape changing or interactive help. So I modified it again to add these.
