I hope | this helps! | | Same here. We have never been able to compiler whatever version of emacs with | whatever version of fxc. Gcc might help, too. I spent some time Monday trying to get GNU Emacs 18.57 compiled using GCC under Concentrix 5.5.03, and was in fact able to get it to compile, but it crashes with a "hangup" message after I try to move around using control keys, hit return, etc. Control keys appear on screen in caret notation (^N, etc.) rather than being received and used for movement. It does load and display text correctly, and no error messages were issued during compilation aside from a few warnings about implicitly extern variables being used in static fashion. Oops. I forgot to tell that we have compiled it with gcc -traditional, and more importantly, the oldXMenu stuff with cc (so fxc -Ogi). This because fxc and the pcc of alliant doesn't do struct returns as gcc -fpcc-struct-return would do. -- __ Gjalt G. de Jong, | Phone: +(31)40-473345 Eindhoven University of Technology, Dept. of Electr.
