I've never made up my mind about those pull down screens. That's an option I'd like to have available on the Mac. I haven't done enough Amiga productivity stuff to form a solid opinion. The closest the Mac has is the ability to set aside either the current application layer or all other layers. It's a quick way to hide applications that aren't relevant at the moment.
