I can drag an icon onto the icon editor's window and it will know to load the icon up. And the "icon alias" sounds just like the "Leave Out" option of WorkBench too." No, I don't mean loading a program by dragging an icon, nor do I mean opening a document with its application the same way. I mean making another application (whether presently open or not) open a document that IT DIDN'T CREATE, and having the OS know what KINDS of files every application supports, so it doesn't let users open say a sound file into a Paint program (the Paint program would just ignore that anyway).
