I just downloaded the file mydisk.dms from ab20 and dms tells
me that i need to supply a password to demash it! 

Whoever uploaded this file, please tell us what it is. If it's
some commercial software that you feel like distributing via NASA
with dms/encrypted files then forget it, you'll ruin it for all of us.
