Well, I'm not sure what circuit you've got, but I built one for my A1000 a few years back and it worked fine. I've got very minimal soldering skills, so it can't be too difficult! The biggest expense was the box I bought to mount it in. > Will DMCS be sufficient to take MIDI input and give MIDI output? I've found DMCS a bit flaky with MIDI, but it was good for just entering notes in scores from my DX7. It's very limited in the recording and playback department. > I have heard of AMAS. AMAS has good sampling hardware - the best for the price, I've heard, and includes a MIDI interface. It has to be connected to both the serial and parallel ports, which is a bit of a nuisance, but otherwise, I'm very happy with the hardware. I don't like the software at all, and suggest you get Audiomaster for sampling. Cheers, Dale -- dgold@basso.actrix.gen.nz Korokoro, New Zealand
