         I'm not sure how Ncomm works, but the 1-character options most
likely are documented in the doc files that come with the various external
protocols themselves. Perhaps the same goes as for quite a few other comm
programs, namely that you have to set an environment variable in order
to make the settings for a particular xpr permanent.
