Sure it can be made to run on an Amiga.  Buy a Bridgeboard!

But seriously, why do you want to run SearchLight?  There are 
plenty of GOOD Amiga BBS programs now:

Paragon, TransAmiga, Skyline, AmiExpress, DLG, Tempest... etc...
