I ran ATM with my 2000 for months without problem. When I got my '030 card, I just swapped the ^ATM/68000 file for the ^ATM/68020-30 file and kept right on working. Yes, your font cache size (set in the Control Panel) should vary depending on 1) How much RAM you have and 2) How many printer fonts you have. I have lotsa RAM and lotsa fonts, so I set mine around 320K. Judging by your RAM size, I'd say 192K should easily be enough unless you are using more than a dozen printer fonts actively.
