This is quite strange.  However, 5.0 is quite old now and there have been several
updates (free in fact) along the way - 5.02, 5.04, and 5.05.  You can contact 
Technical Support to get that automatic update if you desire.  The phone number
for the is (919) 677-8009.  SAS/C 5.10 has provided additional features and was 
developed with 2.0 in hand.
