My biggest gripe with gcc is that it doesn't work happily on a Minix partition under MiNT; I know that there are other people who also use this type of setup who I'm sure would appreciate a 'clean' version. Perhaps it would be enough to use Eric Smith's MiNT library; I'm not familiar with the changes made to port the compiler to the ST.
