   Has anyone else noticed that it takes FOREVER for DIR to time out on an
unformatted floppy?  
 
  How bout that FORMAT is now  R E A L  slow  AND  wont format many disks.
I went back and formatted a disk under 4.01 that would not format under 5.0
and it worked fine, then I checked it and found NO bad spots with norton. 
Under 5.0 I got "Not Ready" errors.

These were HD 5.25".
